Job Summary

Our Dental Scheduling and Hygiene Coordinator is responsible for scheduling treatment appointments and managing recall system.

Responsibilities and Duties (Sample)

  • Participate in morning huddle.
  • Answer phones (as back up for Receptionist) – second in line.
  • Confirming Hygiene appointments.
  • Filling the Hygiene schedule when there are cancellations.
  • Sending out Recare letters.
  • Reactivation program for old patients.
  • Scheduling Family members who do not have an appointment.
  • Calling and scheduling patients for their past due 6 month recalls.
  • Help breakdown rooms and perio-charting.

Qualifications and Skills

Position requires someone with dental office experience, who can multi-task, work well under pressure and attain daily target goals set. Experience using Dentrix and strategic scheduling knowledge is preferred.
